As the daughter of immigrants who fled their home countries to escape political violence, corruption, and fascism, I am deeply committed to our collective work to protect American freedom, democracy, and the right to vote. I have spent the past decade recruiting and training candidates, organizing around ballot measures, educating people about how to vote and engage in our democratic process, and even volunteering as a poll worker.
